December 19, 2017- First Public Hearing Annexation- 22.76 Acre Tract of Land-FM 487- The City of Florence, Texas, proposes to institute annexation proceedings to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of said City to include the following described territory, to-wit: Being a 22.76 acre tract of land, out of the M. J. WELLS SURVEY Abstract No. 646 in Williamson County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds on Exhibit “A” attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein; First Public Hearing will be held by and before the City Council of the City of Florence, Texas, on the 19th day of December, 2017, at 6:00 o’clock p.m. in the City Hall of the City of Florence, located at 106 South Patterson, Florence, Texas, for all persons interested in the above proposed annexation. At such times and place all such persons shall have the right to appear and be heard. Of all such matters and things, all persons interested in the things and matters herein mentioned, will take notice.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR WILFORD LAWRENCE
AND EVELYN A.
LAWRENCE
BEING 22.76 acres of land, situated in the M. J. Wells Survey, Abstract No. 646, in Williamson County, Texas, being a portion of that certain tract of land, called 100 acres, as conveyed to Mrs. Della Suttles by deed as recorded in Volume 335, Page 491, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas. Surveyed on the ground in the month of August, 1977, under the supervision of Don H. Bizzell, Registered Professional Land Surveyor, and being more particularly described as follows;
BEGINNING at an iron pin set on the south line of Farm to Market Highway No. 487, being the north line of the above-referenced 100 acre Suttles tract, for the Northwest corner of that certain tract of land, called L0.70 acres, as conveyed to Charles Bohannon and Mary Ann Bohannon by deed as recorded in Volume 759, Page 615, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, for the Northeast corner
hereof;
THENCE, S 20� 23′ E,
1,403.43 feet to an iron pin set on the south line of the said 100 acre Suttles tract, for the Southwest corner of the said 10.70 acre Bohannon tract, for the Southeast corner hereof;
THENCE, along the said south line of the 100 acre Suttles tract, S 70� 53′ W, 704.12 feet to an iron pin set for the Southeast corner of that certain tract of land, called 63.95 acres, as conveyed . to Florence Grain and Storage Company, of record in Volume 760, Page 467, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, for the Southwest corner hereof;
THENCE, N 20� 23′ W, 1,411.08 feet to an iron pin set on the said south line of F.M. Highway No. 487, for the Northeast corner of the said 63.95 acre Florence Grain and Storage Company tract, for the Northwest corner hereof;
THENCE, along the said south line of P.M. Highway No. 487, N 70� 56′ E, 222.68 feet to a concrete monument found and N 71� 46′ E, 481.67 feet to the Place of BEGINNING and containing 22.76 acres of land.

Bizzell, Registered Professional Land Surveyor, do hereby certify that this survey was made on the ground of the property legally described hereon and is comet, and that there are no apparent discrepancies, conflicts, overlapping of improvements, visible utility lines or roads in place, except as shown on the accompanying plat, and that said property has access to and from a dedicated roadway, to the best of my knowledge and belief.
